[Update]

According to LetsPlayVideoGames, which previously shared many Nintendo Switch related rumors, UK retailer GAME will price the Nintendo Switch at £199 or £249 if you want a game and increased internal storage. This lines up perfectly with the price leaked by Toys "R" Us, so it's fair to say that we might be onto something.

[Original Story]

The Nintendo Switch price might have been just leaked way ahead of time by the Canadian website of Toys "R" Us.

The listing is for $329.99 Canadian dollars, which roughly equates to $245 - a price that could be rounded to $249 and possibly €249 for Europe. Of course, there's a chance it could merely be a placeholder but it would certainly be an oddly specific and fitting choice for that purpose.

This Nintendo Switch price, if true, would be quite low and definitely accessible for a lot of gamers. Even more so when you consider that Nintendo's upcoming console works both as a handheld and as a home console.

Obviously, we'll keep you up to date with any further rumors and leaks on the Nintendo Switch price, which is most likely going to be announced in a couple months from now at the reveal event scheduled for January.

Earlier today, we reported that both Super Mario Galaxy 3 and Super Mario Sunshine HD might be on their way to the Switch. The console is powered by NVIDIA technology; we don't have access to detailed specifications yet, but NVIDIA shared the following quote with regards to the partnership with Nintendo just two days ago:

I guess you could also say that Nintendo contributed a fair amount to that growth. And over the next – as you know, the Nintendo architecture and the company tends to stick with an architecture for a very long time. And so we've worked with them now for almost two years. Several hundred engineering years have gone into the development of this incredible game console. I really believe when everybody sees it and enjoy it, they're going be amazed by it. It's really like nothing they've ever played with before. And of course, the brand, their franchise and their game content is incredible. And so I think this is a relationship that will likely last two decades and I'm super excited about it.
