In the past few hours, select My Nintendo members have received an invitation for the Nintendo Switch US Preview Tour, which will allow them to try out the upcoming console before its release. This preview tour is good news even for those living outside the United States, as its dates may be helpful in narrowing down the console's release window.

The Nintendo Switch US Preview Tour will begin in New York on January 13th and it will run until March 5th with the San Francisco stop, as detailed by Twitter user Stephen Swan. If the tour dates aren't changed, and the Switch indeed releases during March, the console is most likely going to release in the second half of the month.

The Nintendo Switch release date, price and launch titles will be revealed in around one month during a special presentation. Yesterday, Nintendo confirmed that the presentation will be livestreamed on January 12th at 8:00 PM PT / 11 PM ET.

Last week, we finally managed to get a good look at the Nintendo Switch in action during the Jimmy Fallon Show, where Nintendo of America's president Reggie Fils-Aimè was also present to showcase the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Unfortunately, it seems like the game may not be released alongside the Nintendo Switch due to localization issues that may force Nintendo to release it in the second half of the year.

The Nintendo Switch console launches this coming March in all regions. We will keep you updated on the next Nintendo console as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
