A new Metal Gear Solid Delta vs Metal Gear Solid 3 comparison video has been released, showing the massive upgrades players can expect from the remake.

Konami debuted a new trailer for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta during Microsoft's Xbox showcase earlier this month. This trailer showed some impressive visuals, and as discovered by Eurogamer's Digital Foundry, it was shown running at native 4K resolution. Digital Foundry's analysis also included some comparison footage, highlighting how the remake will retain the Metal Gear Solid 3's original scene composition.

YouTube channel 'ElAnalistaDebits' has now released a comparison video of its own, in which the visuals of the original 2004 title are compared to the visuals of Delta as shown in the Xbox showcase trailer. This comparison video shows massive enhancements to the game's character models, animations, environments, gunplay, and the new camera system. Officially announced during Sony's 2023 PlayStation showcase, Metal Gear Solid Delta was first thought to be released sometime this year. Recent rumors have suggested that the game might slip to 2025. The game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
