Mass Effect: Andromeda

Mass Effect Andromeda, the new entry in the series created by BioWare, promises to be one of the biggest role-playing game of 2017, also thanks to the great amount of care the team is putting into their creation. Following the latest showing from a few weeks back, we haven't heard much else about Mass Effect Andromeda, but some new details have managed to come in recently.

On his official Twitter profile, Mass Effect Andromeda Creative Director Mac Walters talked about the game's characters, confirming to a fan that all characters of the game, including customizable ones, will be based on face scans.

Speaking about the Tempest, the ship players will be manning to explore the Andromeda galaxy in search for a new home, Mac Walters confirmed that it may not have access to the entirety of the galaxy, most likely leaving the door open for future games set in Andromeda.

With the game launching next year, Mass Effect Andromeda will come with PlayStation 4 Pro support which has yet to be detailed in full. Last week, producer Michael Gamble revealed in an interview that the team currently has no plans for Project Scorpio support, but things may change in the future. He said pretty much the same about a possible Switch release, which may come only if there's enough demand.

Mass Effect Andromeda launches next year in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
