Little has been shared about the PC version yet, but judging from these specs it sounds like they did a pretty good job at optimizing the game. Unfortunately, as usual we don't know if the target resolution and frame rate of these Mafia III PC requirements - that recommended spec certainly won't be enough to play at 4K, for instance, and possibly even at 1440P.

Mafia III is the third game in the series, featuring a brand new protagonist (Lincoln Clay) and setting (1968 fictionalized New Orleans, called New Bordeaux in the game). You can expect a more detailed open world with many additional side activities when compared to previous Mafia games.

We've interviewed Design Director Matthias Worch during Gamescom 2016 and he gave some exclusive details. About a week ago, the developer also detailed the game's post-launch plans, which will be a mix of free updates and paid DLC expansions.

Mafia III is out on October 7th worldwide for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
