Considering how Apple is with leaks, it is going to be some time before we finally get to see the iPhone 16 Pro series in all its glory. However, we are slowly getting an idea of what Apple might be introducing with the latest flagship, and based on all the information we have received so far, it appears that the company might be making some more changes.
The capture button on the iPhone 16 Pro could see the return of the beloved shutter button from the days gone by
91Mobiles, a reliable source known for its CAD-based renders, has just uploaded the CAD files for the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro, and based on the information updated from these files, it appears that the new iPhone will have a larger Action button.
Other than an enlarged action button, the iPhone 16 Pro also appears to have a Capture button on the other side of the device. The capture button should be able to help in tasks that are associated with the camera, but knowing Apple, I am certain that this button will be responsible for more than just acting as a shutter button.
The source also claims that they have received the dimensions of the upcoming phone, and the iPhone 16 Pro measures 149.6×71.4×8.4mm. We expect the phone to have a larger screen at 6.3 inches this time, which is a good thing for people who prefer larger phones.
As far as the rest of the changes are concerned, we will still have to wait for a while before things become apparent. However, the iPhone 16 series seems to be going through another visual refresh, and while the phone will look dramatically the same as it did the year prior, it is still a good thing that Apple is looking into adding the capture button. I am really interested in finding out what this button will be able to do and how it will help with the overall functionality.
iPhone 16 will also include many other new features. Apple will also focus more on AI, considering that it has become a common feature with the latest phones. I have a feeling that the new phones will deliver on multiple fronts, and I hope that weird and ugly razor-shaped camera island does not become a reality. Other than that, I am interested in finding out what other changes Apple brings to the table.
