According to the publisher’s chairman, Keiko Erikawa, the company’s game engine is capable of outputting multiplatform titles from a single source, and this allows them to easily develop titles for Nintendo’s new platform.

Omega Force and Team Ninja, both studios owned by Koei Tecmo, are currently working hard on Fire Emblem Warriors in collaboration with Nintendo’s in-house studio Intelligent Systems, and more Switch games will follow.

Fire Emblem Warriors is a crossover between  the Warriors-series and Fire Emblem and is slated for a release on both the Nintendo Switch and the New Nintendo 3DS.
