KLEVV unveiled its latest CRAS C950 Gen5 SSD along with faster and higher capacities DDR5 memory modules at Computex.

KLEVV Offers Slimmer Gen5 SSDs In Its CRAS C950 Series, Faster & Denser DDR5 Memory Modules

The KLEVV CRAS C950 is an upcoming SSD design that will feature the Gen5 x4 NVMe 2.0 standard. This SSD will adopt the Phison E26 controller with what KLEVV is claiming to be strictly selected TLC NAND Flash which is designed to offer up to 12 GB/s Read and 11 GB/s Write speeds. Even the base model comes with 11.5 GB/s Read and 8.5 GB/s Write speeds.

The capacities will be 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB. The main thing about this SSD is that it comes with a relatively slimmer heatsink compared to what we have seen on some of the other Gen5 SSDs. The slimmest so far is the Patriot Viper PV553 which comes with an active cooling solution.

In addition to Gen5 SSDs, KLEVV also introduced its faster CRAS V RGB and CRAS XR5 RGB memory modules. These DDR5 DIMMs will come in 32 GB & 48 GB kits (16 GB x 2 / 24 GB x 2) with speeds of up to 8000 MT/s. Both modules feature a very nice design with the CRAS V adopting a black color & the CRAS XR5 adopting a white color scheme and with an RGB diffuser on the top. These kits will be both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO compliant.

KLEVV also showed a demo in which the CRAS V RGB kit was running at DDR5-8600 speeds with CL38-49-49-128-177-2T timings. The memory kit used was 48 GB featuring two 24 GB modules & was running on the ASUS ROG Z790 APEX motherboard with an Intel Core i9-13900K CPU.

For AMD EXPO platforms, KLEVV has the new BOLT V DDR5 gaming memory which features up to 6800 MT/s speeds and comes in the same 16 GB x 2 and 24 GB x 2 kits. This is a more simple ram design that comes in a matte black body and features a low-profile form factor.

The company will be revealing more information such as availability and prices in the coming months.
