iOS 9.3 Beta 3 Arrives For All Registered Apple Developers
Apple is working on iOS 9.3 at a slow and steady pace, ensuring that things are as smooth and stable as they can be for the end user when it's finally available for download. And with the Cupertino giant pushing out beta builds after every two weeks, we can safely assume that Cupertino is not resting easy in the background and is definitely burning some midnight oil.
Today, Apple has pushed out iOS 9.3 beta 3 to registered developers, the very same people responsible for amazing apps and games for our iPhones, iPads and iPod touches. And just like any beta of iOS 9.3 before it, iOS 9.3 beta 3 is available as a full-fledged IPSW download directly from the Apple Developer Program website, or as an OTA (over the air) update.
If you have iOS 9.2 beta 2 or prior already installed on your device, and you also happen to be a registered developer with Apple then you can update straight away using a few simple taps. Simply open the Settings app, tap on General, then Software Update. Wait for the page to refresh and then hit the 'Download and Install' button when greeted with it. Make sure you're connected to a stable WiFi connection as well.
iOS 9.3 beta 3 is a small update and the changelog suggests that we should expect no more than bug fixes and performance enhancements. But there's a chance that Apple might've snuck something under the radar that could prove to be noteworthy for a lot of users. And given that the third beta is way early in its lifecycle, therefore we need a small while to hunt everything down.
If we do happen to find something noteworthy, then we will definitely report back with our findings, so stay tuned for that.
If you happen to be a developer and also have iOS 9.3 beta installed on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, then we highly recommend that you hit that update button right away as new pre-release builds tend to fix a lot of bugs that were introduced in prior software. You never know what new pre-release builds end up fixing, and earning the latest updates is the best thing ever in the world of mobile and app development, so hop right in.
