A new Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus CPU benchmark has leaked out, showcasing the capability of this new 24-core Arrow Lake Refresh chip.
Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus Offers 4 More Cores, More Cache, and Edges Out 265K By Up To 5%
It won't be the first time that the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus has appeared within a leak or benchmarks, but this time, we do have a new leak within the Geekbench database. The Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus will be the successor to the Core Ultra 7 265K. The current chip has seen various price adjustments, & dropped significantly after an MSRP adjustment to $284, and then down to almost $200 with recent deals.
Now, Intel is preparing its Core Ultra 200S Plus refresh, which will feature three brand new SKUs, each with a few new capabilities. Among these is the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, a chip that has been infused with a higher number of cores and higher clock speeds. Let's take a look at the specifications quickly.

The Omte; Cpre I;tra 7 270K Plus is an upgrade to the Core Ultra 7 265K and features a higher core count of 24 cores versus the 20 cores featured on its predecessor. The processor is based around an 8+16 configuration, which shows that the E-cores quantity has risen while the P-Core quantity remains the same. The chip also packs 36 MB of L3 cache, and has clock speeds rated at 3.70 GHz base & 5.50 GHz boost. The boost clock is the same as the 265K, but the spec upgrade should provide a decent boost.

- 24 Cores vs 20 Cores
- Same 5.50 GHz Boost
- 36 MB vs 30 MB L3 Cache

The Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus "Arrow Lake Refresh" CPU was tested on a Gigabyte Z890 Eagle WIFI7 motherboard with 64 GB of DDR5 memory operating at 4800 MT/s speeds. As for performance, the CPU scored 3236 points in single-core and 21,475 points in the Geekbench 6 multi-core test. The score is about on par with the flagship Core Ultra 9 285K, but slightly lower than the previous leak because the previous benchmarks were conducted with higher clocked 7200 MT/s memory.

We don't expect the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus to be priced this way, but if Intel does launch it at the same original MSRP of $384, then there will be a huge gap, and the performance on offer might not be enough to recommend the 270K Plus over the 265K. As such, we expect Intel to price the chip similar to the new MSRP or close enough, say $300. Intel partners have already started to enable BIOS support for their respective 800-series motherboards so expect an introduction at CES 2026.
