It's getting worse for Intel to keep up with AMD, and even the least popular CPUs in the current and previous-gen AMD families are outselling Intel's best CPUs.
AMD Captures a Whopping 94% of CPU Market Revenue According to Mindfactory, but Intel Couldn't Even Beat the AM4 Platform With All of Its Last Three Generations Combined
We have been reporting on the CPU market share for some time now, and every week, it is becoming a dire struggle for Intel's survival. The CPU giant, which used to dominate the mainstream CPU market, is now barely visible on the charts, hardly getting any good sales for its latest CPUs. AMD, on the other hand, easily outsells all Intel CPUs, even with the previous-gen AM4-compatible CPUs.

The latest data from the previous week on CPU sales at Mindfactory is out. Mindfactory is still recovering, but its stats are enough to give us an idea about customers' choice when it comes to the choice of CPUs. As per the previous week's sales stats, AMD is once again the number one choice for CPUs, and it's now looking even stronger than ever. Without about 1,725 units sold last week, AMD has sold almost 12 times more CPUs than Intel.

Intel, unfortunately, couldn't even go past 150 units with all of its last three generations of CPUs combined. The LGA 1851 processors, i.e., the Core Ultra 200S, are doing far worse than the Raptor Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs, which have sold over 100 units in this time. The Arrow Lake CPU sales were unbelievably low at just 20 units, while the Alder Lake CPUs sold just 10 units. This led to just 7.51% of the total number of CPUs sold last week, while AMD is at a staggering 92.49%.
With an average selling price of 311 Euros, AMD was able to secure 93.77% of total revenue, while Intel is stuck with 6.23% of revenue with a lower ASP of 254 Euros. If we take a quick look at the charts, we can see that Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 7800X3D are still the best-selling CPUs. Intel is invisible in the top 20 best-selling CPUs, and the most popular one was the Core Ultra 7 265K with just 20 sold units. However, the 14th-gen CPUs were selling more as they generally offer more value for the buck compared to the Arrow Lake series.
