An Injustice 2 patch that fixes the deletion of gear following the recent 1.10 update will be released soon, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have announced.

The exact date and time of the patch’s deployment is unknown at this point, and the official Injustice 2 Twitter account only mentions that the update will be made available “soon”. The team apologizes for the inconveniences the Injustice 2 1.10 update has caused.

“Update: a patch will be available soon that will stop the deletion of Gear”, the Tweet reads. “Apologies for the delay and we thank you for your patience!”

Based on this wording, the update will only prevent gear from being deleted but it doesn’t seem that it will also restore gear and items that have already been deleted.

As covered earlier, NetherRealm Studios’ community specialist, Tyler Lansdown, suggests that people contact Warner Bros. at support.wbgames.com to get their precious shaders and items back.

Injustice 2 is available now for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
