The popular software for hardware monitoring has added several upcoming Intel CPUs and some bug fixes.

HWiNFO Adds Support for Intel Nova Lake H, HX, Panther Lake, and Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs

HWiNFO usually is one of the first ones to confirm upcoming hardware releases, and while mention of certain hardware in the upcoming versions doesn't guarantee a release, we know for a fact that the newly mentioned CPU families are already getting prepared. HWiNFO was one of the first ones to mention Intel Nova Lake previously, but mostly mentioned the desktop Nova Lake-S series.

This time, we have two more families being mentioned in the release notes for the upcoming HWiNFO version 8.35. The software version is currently available for download in its beta state, but stable version should come out soon. As mentioned in the release notes, it adds "Nova Lake H" and "Nova Lake HX" series in its database that should allow accurate monitoring of these chips.

Both families belong to the Nova Lake mobile segment and have already been discussed a few times on the site. Nova Lake HX was first mentioned in an NBD shipping manifest, confirming that the chips will use the BGA 2540 socket, which is 20% bigger than the BGA 2114 used by Arrow Lake HX

The Nova Lake H will succeed the Panther Lake H family, bringing up to 16-core configurations with a similar hybrid design (4-P Coyote Cove + 8-E Arctic Wolf + 4 LP-E Arctic Wolf). As for the Nova Lake HX, it's expected to double the Performance and Efficient cores and will boast up to 28 Cores in total. The default TDP is therefore expected to be higher than the H variants.

HWiNFO also confirmed that the Arrow Lake Refresh is coming soon, and we have already reported on some of the new SKUs that were leaked in recent days. These are the Core Ultra 9 290K Plus, Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, offering improved clocks and even higher core count on some. And then, we have the Panther Lake support once more being mentioned, which isn't the first time seen in HWiNFO release notes.
