Huawei Mate 20X Might Be the First Flagship From Chinese Giant to Feature a Stylus – Proper Note 9 Competitor Inbound?
Huawei Mate 20 series will be unveiled on October 16 and reportedly consist of three models; the regular Mate 20, the larger Mate 20 Pro and the tablet-sized Mate 20X. The latter of these three devices, Mate 20X is said to be the largest handset, sporting a gargantuan 7.21-inch OLED screen and was previously rumored to be called as the Mate Porsche Design. Mate 20X is said to come with a large battery, which is possible thanks to its bigger screen real estate, and now, the latest leak states that this could potentially be the first handset from the Chinese manufacturer to come with a stylus.
Huawei Mate 20X Customers Might Have to Purchase the Pen Accessory
Two new images apparently leaked of the Huawei Mate 20X, revealing a very bulky stylus by its side. One of the pictures Huawei Club posted is of a flyer in which three phones can be seen with the words ‘Mate 20’ written in between the devices. The two smartphones on the left are most likely the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro while the device with a larger display should be Mate 20X with a stylus positioned to its left indicating that Mate 20X might be the phone with pen support, though nothing is confirmed at this point.
The way the stylus is shown next to the phone on its own stand and judging by its size alone, it is safe to assume that it could not possibly fit inside the Mate 20X, unless there is a way to magnetically connect the two devices, but it would be a cumbersome experience to carry the smartphone that way.
Do you know what is in these 2 pics?

It is possible that the stylus might not even arrive with the Mate 20X and it would need to be purchased separately. This also leads us to consider the possibility of other phones supporting features in its display that can be utilized by the pen. We will have to find out during the official launch to witness which of these theories come true.
All three devices are scheduled to be introduced on October 16 at an event happening in London. The price tags are rumored to be $800 for Mate 20 and a whopping $1000 for Mate 20 Pro. The price of the Mate 20X is still a mystery but we’ll continue to update you in the future. As for the hardware specifications, all three devices are expected to be fueled by the 7nm FinFET Kirin 980.
