Huawei P20 Plus Case Renders Reveal Improved Smartphone Photography Prowess Thanks to Three Rear-Mounted Lenses
The Huawei P20 Plus might finally usher the beginning of an era where we will be seeing tri-cam phone setups in the market. Here are a series of leaked images that reveal what the phablet-sized flagship will look like from both the front and back. To be honest, we’re more concerned about the rear side of the P20 Plus will look like once it gets officially unveiled.
Huawei P20 Plus Could Have a Massive Selling Point on the Optics Side With Its Triple-Camera Setup
Although the leaked pictures of the early prototype of the Huawei P20 that made headlines earlier featured a dual-camera setup that was reminiscent of the P20, the retail device might not end up looking like that. This was made clear from the leaked case renders of the P20 Plus.
The triple-vertical camera setup can be seen clearly in the pictures, as seen on the 360-degree renders some time ago. The leak comes from a reputable source, and there is no question that Huawei is going to be targeting various smartphone pricing brackets with the release of the P20 Plus, P20, and P20 Lite models. Just to be clear, these will have different designs, power, and sets of cameras.
For instance, the leaked P20 Plus prototype seems pretty interesting. The front shows a top bezel cutout, similar to the iPhone X’s notch. This has increased the screen-to-body ratio. Some time ago, Huawei also teased a 3D facial recognition system which was a lot like Apple’s and we might see it in the P-series smartphones.
It is worth mentioning that some flagship smartphones in the market still have a single rear camera, so a triple-camera set up will truly make Huawei P20 Plus stand out. The P20 series will be unveiled officially on March 27 in Paris, France and we’ll be here to provide you with timely coverage.
