Here's how to open warped closets in Resident Evil Requiem

While exploring the haunting corridors of the Rhodes Hill Care Center in Resident Evil Requiem, you will occasionally encounter warped closets. While Grace can interact with them, she doesn't have the physical strength or the tools to actually open them.

If you are looking for a key or a crowbar to pry these open as Grace, however, you can stop searching. Here is everything you need to know about how to open these warped closets and if you need to do so to proceed in the main story.

Can Grace Open Warped Closets?

The short answer is no. You cannot open these closets as soon as you encounter them during Grace’s segments. As such, just leave them be: it is one of the gameplay elements used to highlight how much Grace and Leon gameplay differ, even during the early game.

Can Leon Open Warped Closets?

Warped closets are specifically meant for Leon to open. Unlike Grace, Leon is equipped with a hatchet that can easily open them and access to the items within.

  • If you are worried about missing a key story item, don't be. Warped closets are never required to progress through the main story.
  • For those aiming for 100% completion, however, these closets are mandatory. One of the Warped Closets in the Care Center hides one of the 25 Raccoon memoriam puppets, which must be destroyed to unlock Advanced Tuning, which unlocks an extra level of tuning for weapon parts.
