If you're not signed up for the WhatsApp beta program, you can still sideload the APK and try dark mode out for yourself. WhatsApp dark mode only worked on the service's web version or you would have to use third-party apps to do so. Henceforth, we have devised a step by step instructions on how you can enable WhatsApp Dark Mode.

If you're following the guide via the APK, it can be downloaded from the associated link, the rest of the operation will remain the same. However, be sure to back up your chats before you proceed.

That's all that you have to do to enable WhatsApp Dark Mode on your Android device. The process isn't that difficult and you can easily do it. The dark theme provides you with a darker theme throughout the app and not just any section.

The best part is that there's a dedicated toggle that you can enable which will conjoin system dark mode with WhatsApp dark mode. This means that when you enable system dark mode, a darker theme will automatically be applied to WhatsApp. It's nothing big but very convenient or you can just simply enable it at all times.

There will be more to the story, so be sure to stay tuned in for more details on the matter. Are you looking to enable WhatsApp dark mode on your Android phone? Let us know in the comments.
