Zenless Zone Zero is the latest gacha game to be released and developed by miHoYo. This game stands out from the crowd of their existing IPs, as it comes with flashy Borderlands meets Suicide Squad-type gameplay. Because of the vastly different game, there is a very hefty incentive of 180 free pulls.
This guide will tell you everything you need to know about claiming all 180 free pulls in Zenless Zone Zero to get your favorite character in one of the banners. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as just logging in and claiming the pulls. You will have to work to unlock them, which gives you time to get used to the mechanics of Zenless Zone Zero.
How to Claim Free Master Tapes in Zenless Zone Zero
Master Tapes are used to pull from the Star-Studded Cast banner, which allows you to get some fancier items, higher rarity characters, and W-Engines, which can be used to upgrade your favorite fighters.
If you pre-registered for Zenless Zone Zero, you'll be able to get 20 Master Tapes as soon as you unlock the mailbox.
Next, you can get 10 Master Tapes from participating in the Cunning Generosity event, which unlocks once you have reached Inter-Knot level 8. All you have to do is unlock the event and claim the reward. Please note that this event expires on August 13.
For this step, you have to reach Inter-Knot levels 5, 15, 20 and 25. You'll then be able to claim bundles of 10 Master Tapes through the Road to Proxy Greatness event, which has no expiration date.
How to Claim Free Encrypted Master Tapes in Zenless Zone Zero
Encrypted Master Tapes aren't too dissimilar from regular Master Tapes. Still, they allow you to pull from exclusive Channel Signal Searches and W-Engine Signal Searches specifically, depending on what you want to use the tapes on.
To get Encrypted Master Tapes, you can participate in the New City Visitor's Passport event, similar to a 7-day log-in scheme. You have to log in on seven different days to get these rewards. It doesn't have to be consecutive days, so don't panic if you can't get on the next day.
There is also the Sixth Street Giveaway, which has a similar event style to the New City Visitor's Passport event, which began on July 11 and expires on August 13.
How to Claim Free Boopons in Zenless Zone Zero
Boopons are used specifically for Bangboo Channel Signal Searches. This is so you can unlock different Bangboos and choose to have one accompany you in the style you like the most.
If you pre-registered, you can get five free Boopons through your mailbox. In the Road to Proxy Greatness event, you will get some Boopon bundles when you reach Inter-Knot levels 5, 15, 20, and 25, with a final bundle of 20 Boopons when you reach Inter-Knot level 30.
A log-in event similar to the New City Visitor Passport is also called "En-Nah" In Your Lap. This begins on July 24 and ends on August 13, so keep your eyes peeled for that event!
How to Claim Free Polychrome in Zenless Zone Zero
Finally, you can also obtain some Polychrome, a very useful and expensive resource in Zenless Zone Zero. You can save up your Polychrome and then buy Master Tape or Encrypted Master Tapes if you're trying to aim for a high rarity pull.
You'll be given plenty of Polychrome throughout the game as you complete quests and reach certain milestones. Still, most importantly, you get a massive bundle of 1,600 Polychrome for reaching Inter-Knot level 30!
