Diablo IV

Diablo IV features a lot of different quests that will see you travel all over Sanctuary in search of Lilith, but going after the Queen of the Succubi won't be everything you will be doing in the latest entry in the series, as the game features a variety of different sidequests where you will have to help people with their troubles.

Sometimes, all it takes is a cryptic note to get a sidequest started. That is the case of the Secret of the Spring sidequest, which can be started during Act 1.

How to Complete the Secret of the Spring Sidequest in Diablo IV

The Secret of the Spring sidequest in Diablo IV can be started by picking up the Discarded Note that can be found to the south of the Forsaken Quarry. You will likely come across the note as you make your way to the dungeon, which you will visit as part of one of the main quests.

Once you read the note, a zone will be highlighted on your map to the northeast of the Forsaken Quarry. Head over there to discover the Trough of the Orobas area, which also features the spring mentioned in the note. As the message in the note suggested, you will get rewarded for your patience, but simply standing around isn't going to do anything. What you need to do is to use the Wait emote, which needs to be assigned to your Emote Wheel if you haven't already. Once you do, use the emote while standing near the Spring to get a Buried Chest. Open it up, and the quest will be completed.
