A God of War Ragnarok DLC expansion is apparently in the works, but it will still be some time before we see Kratos and Atreus back in action, as it isn't releasing this year.

During a Twitch livestream, The Snitch, who proved to be extremely reliable when it comes to video game leaks, revealed that the expansion to the latest entry in the series released last year is around 60% complete but won't be released this year. Additionally, it has been revealed that it's not yet clear if it will be a proper DLC or a standalone expansion.

While the credibility of The Snitch has been put into question recently due to the leaker previously announcing they were done with leaks before making an unexpected return, there's a very good chance the God of War Ragnarok DLC expansion is indeed real, as the leaker revealed he was blocked on X/Twitter by Cory Barlog himself on Discord following the reveal.

While the news of more God of War Ragnarok content coming our way is welcome, in its current state, the game is still one of the best action/adventure games released recently and a great conclusion to the Norse arc, as highlighted in our review.

God of War Ragnarok is now available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 worldwide.
