The company has launched two high-end products in its laptop category, coupled with its latest AI Assistant for more control.
GIGABYTE Introduces GiMATE-Powered AORUS Master 16, AERO X16, And GAMING A16 PRO Gaming Laptops With Up To Ryzen 9 9950X3D-RTX 5090 Combo
Popular hardware and laptop maker GIGABYTE has debuted its latest lineup of gaming laptops under different families at the Computex 2026 event. With the introduction of these laptops, GIGABYTE has also introduced its proprietary AI Assistant called GiMATE. It's similar to how other vendors are rolling out their own AI Assistants for their devices to give users more control over their systems for effortless interactions.
Through GiMATE, users can adjust the CPU usage to increase the energy savings and battery life. The Customize Mode includes various tweaks for controlling the CPU operation on the AMD Ryzen CPUs such as SPL for long-term CPU power, SPPOT for managing boost powre, and FPPT for absolute peak power. For Intel, PL1 and PL2 can be managed using the GiMATE, and the assistant can also control the GPU overclocking.
The new GIGABYTE laptop lineup includes three models that ship with GiMATE, leveraging NVIDIA NVFP4 quantization to improve generative AI efficiency on RTX 50 series laptop GPUs. The new flagship laptop model is the AORUS Master 16, which has received the Computex Best Choice Award for extreme performance. The AMD Zen 5-based Ryzen 9 9950HX3D processor powers this laptop, a strong chip that delivers 16 cores and 32 threads of configuration to carry out intensive tasks.
Paired with it is the GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU, which is the fastest-known laptop GPU, featuring 24 GB of fast GDDR7 VRAM. Despite such high-end hardware, the GIGABYTE can cram all of this inside an ultra-slim 19mm chassis, making it a much more portable solution than conventional high-end gaming laptops. This laptop will be pre-equipped with the latest GiMATE suite for providing you with AI Assistance and will also include a MUX Switch to control the GPU operation.
The second laptop is the GIGABYTE AERO X16; Copilot+ PC, which is the winner of the Red Dot Design Award. It boasts a GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU paired with the Ryzen 7 260, featuring 12GB VRAM, ready for triple-A titles and also for AI workloads. The third one is the GIGABYTE GAMING A16 PRO laptop that delivers a superior GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU coupled with the Intel Core Ultra 9 185, packed inside a sub-20mm chassis. Overall, all these laptops are sleek and thin without compromising on the configuration. GIGABYTE hasn't shared any details on the pricing or availability of the laptops yet.
