Samsung is gearing up for its next big launch of the S series, and as the launch window is months away, the rumor mill seems to be churning in full swing about the upcoming lineup and what to expect from it. This is especially true for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, where we have received varied reports giving us key information about the new premium model. The previous speculations all pointed towards a design overhaul for the model, which stands to be true as the latest renders seem to match up with the dummy units.

The latest renders mirror the design changes highlighted earlier for leaked dummy units of the Galaxy S25 Ultra

It has not been long since Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy unit images emerged that highlighted Samsung's opting for a revamped design for its Galaxy S25 Ultra model. The company's classic approach for the S Ultra phone is sharp, squared corners. However, the dummy showcased a different direction with more rounded corners.

Now, a post by Technizo Concept on X mirrors the same design changes pointed out in dummy units, and that is a softer, more rounded design instead of the more sharply defined corners for the upcoming flagship model, giving it a more aesthetically appealing look. Not only is the design upgraded visually, but it also improves the ergonomics, as this tweak is going to make it more comfortable to hold the device.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra model's renders also give us a sneak peek into the color options it is going to be available in, which include Titanium Blue, Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Silver. You can notice how the edges are rounded and look different on each color option. If you notice, the less imposing approach reflects the same aesthetics seen for the Galaxy Note 20 model that sported rounded edges. The new S Ultra model seems to take some inspiration from the Note model yet keeps the high-end approach by going for premium materials.

In comparison to its predecessor, the new S25 Ultra model is expected to be larger, a bit more narrowed and thinner, standing at 162.82 x 77.65 mm x 8.25 mm, while the S24 Ultra came with 162.3 mm x 79 mm x 8.6 mm. Samsung is keeping the bold look, yet improving the ergonomics by making the new model sleeker and more manageable. The Galaxy S25 lineup is expected to come out in January, possibly at the same time as Samsung intends to roll out the One UI 7 for compatible devices.
