Galaxy S25+ leak causes a person to lose their job

Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy S25 series next month, and that only means that the company would have installed a myriad of spies who are overlooking various product leaks that can come through any channel. One of these channels shared what a prototype of the Galaxy S25+ looks like, but in doing so, the person accidentally revealed the device’s serial number, causing Samsung to triangulate his position and ultimately have the leaker fired.

The leak shows the Galaxy S25+ prototype features a visible mmWave bar on the side, with the overall design lacking any meaningful change

The images shown by tipster @Jukanlosreve allegedly shows the Galaxy S25+ prototype from various angles, with its appearance virtually unchanged from the Galaxy S24+. While there is a visible mmWave bar present on the side of the upcoming flagship, there is nothing else that is noteworthy about the device. However, the interesting part about this leak is what transpired after the person revealed the Galaxy S25+. Sadly, the unnamed individual was not careful in covering his tracks.

We say this because one of the images displayed the serial number that was identified by X user Max Jambor as ‘CE092439139P4DF34E7ECE092,’ which would allow Samsung to identify the owner of the device, ultimately causing trouble for the individual. Now, Max Jambor has shared another post on X below, updating his followers that the person who leaked the Galaxy S25+ prototype has been fired from his job.

Another update that we have stumbled upon is from @chunvn8888, who replied to the post, stating that the person who leaked the Galaxy S25+ is pleading with the Chinese community to delete the leaked pictures or else his former employer will sue him. There are no details on which company the person was previously stationed at, but a single mistake cost him his livelihood. In the end, this incident serves as a lesson to anyone who intends to leak future Samsung products.

However, given that the Galaxy S25+ prototype has leaked, it is only a matter of time before we come across the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, with the only possible difference being that leakers will be more careful.
