There is no denying that the Galaxy S24 is one of the best series in the market at the time of writing. Samsung really hit it out of the park with how good these phones are. Despite the phones looking nearly identical to their predecessors, Samsung has made a lot of changes and added a lot of improvements. Now, a new report shows how Samsung's latest and greatest has managed to outperform the Galaxy S23 series as well as the Galaxy S22 series in terms of units shipped.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra managed to make up 52% of the total sales, while the Base and Plus variant caught 27% and 21% respectively
We already had an inkling that the Galaxy S24 series was performing really well since Samsung actually increased its shipment target from 12 million units shipped to 13 million estimated. The report suggests that the global sales of Samsung's latest flagship are 8% higher than those of the Galaxy S23 devices in the same period, which is from January 28th to February 17th.
The sales of the Galaxy S24 series are up by 28% in the Western European region. In South Korea, phones have sold 22% more than their predecessors, and the number in the U.S. is also higher at 14%. So, it is all good news for Samsung because the new devices have managed to make the dent that the South Korean tech giant was hoping for.
So, which model was the winner? Well, as you might have guessed, the Galaxy S24 Ultra managed to take the lead. The Ultra variant made up a whopping 52% of total sales. The base variant occupied 27% of sales, and the Plus variant managed to get 21% of sales.
It is worth noting that it has been less than two months since the Galaxy S24 debuted, and based on the information we have so far, it appears that the phones are selling better than expected. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has already beaten the records of the Galaxy S23 series, which sold better than the S22 series, but not as much. Samsung has packed the latest flagship with a lot of goodness, including Galaxy AI and better cameras. Overall, if you are looking for a top-tier Android flagship, then I don't really think there is a better suggestion than what is already available in the market.
