The Galaxy S23 series launched earlier this year to a pretty solid reception from critics and users alike. The phones served as a solid upgrade for everyone who did not upgrade to the Galaxy S22 devices, as these new phones brought the same design from the previous generation while making substantial upgrades under the hood, including the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is highly, highly efficient.

Despite being a minor upgrade, the Galaxy S23 series has managed to sell better than the Galaxy S22 did in its first month.

Although the Galaxy S23 series might not look attractive in terms of an overall package, the numbers are clearly telling a different story based on the information from a Twitter user.

Renowned Twitter user and tipster @Tech_Reve has shared the sales numbers of the Galaxy S23 series, and honestly, things are looking impressive for the South Korean tech giant.

Based on the numbers, the base Galaxy S23 variant sold 690,000 units, the Plus variant sold 430,000 units, and the Ultra variant sold 1.65 million units. The Plus variant selling poorly makes sense because it does not really offer much of an upgrade over the base offering aside from a bigger battery and a bigger display. However, the Ultra variant easily won with an impressive 1.65 million. The total 2.77 million units sold is 102% more than what the Galaxy S22 was capable of, and honestly, this is an impressive feat.

At first, I thought the data was for the home country only, but the source has confirmed that these numbers are from worldwide sales, which goes to show that the Galaxy S23 series is selling a lot better than expected and hopefully continues on this trajectory until we get to see the next flagship.

Samsung, as a company, has come a long way and is doing really well when you look at the Android market as a whole. It looks like Samsung is perhaps the only company that has a proper roadmap and an understanding of what needs to be done. The company recently revealed its new Galaxy A devices, which should further improve the revenue, and later this year, we are getting a whole host of new devices, as well. Of course, the Galaxy S23 series will also remain the focus for the rest of the year.
