The tipster has been extremely vocal on the micro-blogging platform on Samsung’s lack of efforts in making the Galaxy lineup extra competitive, but with a 50MP camera arriving to the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 3x optical zoom, he might be able to take back his words somewhat.
The exact sensor details were not shared, but a jump from 10MP to 50MP represents nearly five times an improvement in image resolution, so whatever picture is taken from the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to look immaculate. Moreover, when the 3x optical zoom is used, the increased image resolution should mitigate a loss in quality.
