Fractal has launched two cases in the Meshify 3 series: Meshify 3 and Meshify 3 XL, each of which offers an advanced cooling design for improved thermal performance.
The Meshify 3 Adds a Slope to the PSU Shroud, Directing More Air Towards the GPU: Here is what the Fractal Meshify 3 Series Brings to the Table
PC case manufacturer Fractal Design has launched its latest case series, called Meshify 3. The series brings two cases to the table: the Meshify 3 (regular) and the Meshify 3 XL. As you may presume from the names, the Meshify 3 XL is a bigger version of the regular chassis, adding more space inside the case to allow bigger components.
However, both cases are essentially similar in features and design, except for a few differences that may help the Meshify 3 XL to be somewhat better in some circumstances. Fractal's Meshify cases have been outstanding, but the Meshify 3 brings some small yet notable additions, which directly improve its thermal performance compared to regular cases with similar designs.

The Meshify 3 has a PSU shroud that adds a slope at the front, which directs the airflow towards the GPU while other fans take care of the rest of the components. The PSU shroud still has plenty of space to add a PSU of up to 180mm length, but the Meshify XL can support up to 230mm. Since the Meshify 3 XL is quite long, the case can literally support GPUs up to 512mm in length, while the Meshify 3 regular edition is also satisfactory with a GPU clearance of up to 349mm.
Of course, with a radiator installed at the front, the clearance will be somewhat lower, but it is still enough to accommodate triple-fan GPUs. That said, the Meshify 3 can let you install up to a 360mm radiator at the front, but if you opt for fans instead, the case allows installing 3x 120mm or 3x 140mm fans, but you may not need to do that at all, since the case comes with pre-installed 3x 140mm fans for high airflow. You may add your favorite fans if you wish, but if you are craving more RGB lighting, the front panel does come with built-in RGB lighting.
The Meshify 3 XL can fit even bigger radiators, but at the top, with clearance to support up to 420mm radiators. Moreover, there is a big vent on the right side panel for better ventilation. There are some small yet surprising innovations in the case as well, including a dust filter at the bottom that can be detached directly along with the foot and angular front panel mesh for increased airflow.
