Epic Mickey Rebrushed, the remake of the first entry in the series created by Deux Ex series creator Warren Spector's Junction Point Studio, is launching this September on PC and consoles.

The game developed by Purple Lamp will be released on September 24th, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, as announced by a new trailer shared today. The game's standard and Collector's Editions are also available for pre-order now, the latter giving access to a special costume pack as well as 24-hour early access to the game, which won't be available on PC.

Epic Mickey Rebrushed reimagines the original game developed by Junction Point Studio with improved visuals and some tweaks, such as new movement skills like dash, ground pound, and sprinting. Despite the gameplay tweaks, the game promises to be a faithful remake that will see players accompany Mickey Mouse in the Wasteland, a realm of forgotten Disney characters like Oswald the Rabbit, Walt Disney's first unlucky creation who was eventually replaced by Mickey Mouse in 1928.

Epic Mickey Rebrushed launches on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 23rd, 2024.
