Diablo IV and its soon-to-be-released Vessel of Hatred expansion will be PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced titles.

Speaking on X, Activision Blizzard's Rod Fergusson confirmed that the latest entry in the popular ARPG series and its expansion will indeed be PS5 Pro Enhanced. Additional details on the enhancements will be provided later.

While we do not know if Diablo IV and the Vessel of Hatred will be among the PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced launch titles, it is good to know owners of the soon to be released system will be able to experience them with multiple enhancements. It is also somewhat ironic that a game that is now owned by Microsoft will play and look best on a PlayStation system, but with the current state of the gaming industry, everything has truly become possible.

Even if Diablo IV wasn't getting PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced, it still had the chance to look better on the new system, thanks to its Game Boost mode, which can be used to stabilize framerate and increase dynamic resolution range without any input from the developer. PS5 Pro Enhanced titles, however, will definitely look best, as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has already shown in some preview footage.

Diablo IV is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One worldwide. You can learn more about the game by checking out Alessio's review.
