Dell Launches World's First 39" 5K RGB Stripe Tandem OLED and Several New Alienware Gaming Monitors
Alienware AW3926QW1
The AW3926QW1 is the latest and the flagship Alienware gaming monitor that uses the RGB Tandem OLED panel. According to Dell, it's the first 5K 39" RGB Tandem OLED monitor that brings four RGB layers to increase brightness, increased color volume, sharper text, and deep blacks. The monitor boasts up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness and an incredible color reproduction, offering Delta E < 2 color accuracy.
It's also VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified and brings various Adaptive Sync technology support such as NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. The monitor offers Dolby Vision support to improve the visuals and has Anti-flicker technology to reduce eye strain. At 5K resolution, the monitor operates at up to 165 Hz, which offers immersive gaming experience, but can be switched to WFHD at 330 Hz for smoother gameplays.
Alienware AW3226DM and AW3426DWM
In the Alienware lineup, Dell has introduced two more monitors in the mid-range segment. The first one is the AW3226DM, which is a 32-inch VA monitor that boasts QHD resolution with up to 240 Hz refresh rate. It offers a 1500R curvature for immersive gameplay and comes packed with modern technologies to improve gaming experience
AW3426DWM is its bigger sibling that boasts an ultrawide form-factor, featuring a resolution of 3440x1440p. At WQHD, the monitor operates at a good 240Hz, bringing buttery smoothness for both cinematic and competitive gaming experience. Plus, the 1500R display makes it a perfect choice for triple-A titles. It brings a color gamut of 95% DCI-P3, making image more vibrant, and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for vivid image quality.
Connectivity on both monitors are satisfactory, including a dedicated USB Hub with multiple USB ports, including a Type C port that offers 15W of charging. These monitors cater to the demands of gamers who cannot invest in an expensive OLED monitor, but still want to achieve the best visuals on a budget while retaining high refresh rate, and amazing picture quality.
Alienware AW3426DW
The four one is the Alienware AW3426DW, which is another high-end OLED monitor for exceptional visual quality. This monitor boasts a 34-inch display size and a QD-OLED panel for deep blacks, true 10-bit color depth, and excellent color accuracy. Operating at a high 280Hz refresh rate, it is capable of providing smooth gaming experience while its low 0.03 ms of response time makes it ideal for competitive gaming.
However, one of its most notable features is its 5-stack Penta Tandem QD-OLED technology that is manufactured by Samsung. Through five RGB layers, the monitor reproduces brighter images compared to regular OLEDs, and can deliver up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness while also delivering a solid 300 nits in SDR mode. It's perfect for both gaming and professional tasks, and brings a 1800R curvature for an immersive experience.
