The new monitor stack brings powerful feature set for enthusiasts, who want to have immersive and sharper visual quality.
GIGABYTE Launches 5K Mini LED Glossy 5K Monitor and Three 4th Gen Tandem WOLED AORUS Elite Models With Up To 4K@240Hz Modes
It's great to see some vendors prioritizing Mini LEDs over conventional LED displays. GIGABYTE is one of them, which has recently brought its latest monitor lineup to the Computex event, featuring a powerful Mini LED monitor alongside several OLED models for enthusiasts. The new lineup falls under the AORUS Elite series, bringing four new offerings, including 4K and 5K displays for those who want sharper and immersive visual quality.
The first one is the FM275K16P, which GIGABYTE calls the world's first 5K mini LED glossy gaming monitor. It features retina-level clarity, thanks to the 218 PPI density at a 27-inch display size. With 2,304 local dimming zones, the monitor delivers deep blacks and helps reduce the halo effect. Moreover, it's also one of the first to feature a triple-mode configuration, similar to MSI's triple-mode QD-OLED gaming monitor.
The GIGABYTE 5K mini LED display can switch between 5K, UHD, and QHD resolutions with modes such as 5K@165Hz, UHD@220Hz, and QHD@330Hz. The display offers a low response time of just 1ms GtG and is equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility for tear-free gameplay. GIGABYTE did a good job by providing a DP 2.1 80 Gbps port for uncompressed visuals, and users will also find an HDMI 2.1 with eARC support. With up to 1,250 Nits of HDR peak brightness, it's going to be impressive in visual quality, and so will be the next OLED monitors that GIGABYTE equips with the latest generation OLED panel.
The company has showcased three more displays, all featuring the 4th-gen Tandem WOLED, delivering exceptional visuals for those who love sharper image quality. The first one is the FO32U24GP, which is a 32-inch UHD dual-mode monitor, offering UHD@240Hz and FHD@480Hz modes for both immersive and competitive gaming experiences. The second one is the FO32U24G, offering similar specifications, but it appears that it has some changes in its connectivity ports.
The fourth one is the FO27Q28G, which is a 27-inch QHD monitor, featuring up to a 280 Hz refresh rate and just 0.03ms of response time for competitive gaming. All monitors offer up to 1500 nits of peak brightness, 99.5% DCI-P3 color coverage, Delta E < 2 color accuracy, AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility, and AI picture mode.
