Sony and Kojima Productions have rolled out Death Stranding patch 1.03 ahead of the game’s global launch later this week.
The highly-anticipated title from Kojima isn’t out until this Friday but this is actually the second patch that gets released for Death Stranding before its launch. The first performance update for reviewers clocked in at roughly 400MB last month and this new patch weighs in at approximately 1GB. We’ve included the release notes for this update down below:
Death Stranding Patch 1.03 Release Notes
- Multiple problems fixed
- Game balance adjustments
- Translation quality improvements
- Updated save data version
Save data created in version 1.03 cannot be used with an earlier version
From the looks of it – this will be the update that’s available on the game’s launch later this week.
Death Stranding is launching this Friday on November 8. As announced last week, the ‘stranding’ game is also coming to PC next year. Be sure to check out our Death Stranding review round-up in case you haven't done so.
