Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 modding is about to reach a whole different level thanks to an incredibly interesting project that promises to bring features such as dynamic plot generation, procedural mission planning, improved enemy behavior, and more.

The CyberAI Project, a plugin that can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, enables integration between the game and the OpenAI API, providing opportunities to call OpenAI API methods from Lua or Redscript, allowing users, for example, to generate unique NPCs dialogues using ChatGPT. As this is possible only via script, however, the average user cannot do much with the plugin, but other modders could be able to take advantage of it to create mods that could really bring the Cyberpunk 2077 experience to a different level, introducing not only the dynamic plot generation and procedural mission planning mentioned above but also dynamic responses from the environment, making the game way more immersive.

While modders continue to improve Cyberpunk 2077, developer CD Projekt Red is hard at work on the game's big expansion Phantom Liberty, which promises to improve the experience of the base game with new content, mechanics, and more. The expansion launches on September 26th on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One worldwide.
