Before the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to get the 2.0 update which introduces a lot of changes and new features to the base game, and it seems like the wait for this update isn't going to be much longer.

Earlier today, PlayStation Game Size reported on X/Twitter that the 2.0 update for the open-world RPG developed by CD Projekt Red was recently added to the PlayStation Database, suggesting that its release is imminent. While it is unlikely that the update will go live before the end of the week, it is more probable that it could become available sometime the next.

With the new system, the police will chase the player down and continue hunting for them for a while in the area where they lost them, MaxTac will come down via AVs, will try to hack and reveal players' locations if they lose them, and will always put up a fight as if the game's difficulty was set to hard.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide. The Phantom Liberty expansion will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on September 26th.
