Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival may not have been what players expected Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games to reveal last July, but considering Saber's eclectic portfolio, it's hard to expect anything from it, really. Regardless, less than a year from the first-person horror game's reveal, we have a release date to look forward, perfectly timed for Halloween with an October 8, 2026 due date.

The news came with a brand new trailer, which capped off the immense amount of gore you see in the minute-and-a-half-long trailer. Whether you're a particularly squeamish person or if you're a horror geek that loves gore-filled stories, one takeaway you'll have when the trailer ends is that everything we saw was just a teaser of what's to come.

That's not a guarantee, but it is at least evidence that Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive understand what it means to try and adapt a franchise like Hellraiser into a first-person horror with a high bar for graphical fidelity and a realistic art style. It means not pulling any punches, and so far it looks like Boss Team Games is putting its full weight behind this game.

You'll be able to pre-order the game soon, and it'll set you back €39.99 EUR/£34.99 GBP for the standard edition and €49.99 EUR | £41.99 for the deluxe edition. There will also be two collector's editions available on the game's official website, if you're so inclined.

Pre-ordering any edition of the game will also grant you two digital skins for two of the game's weapons.

When Wccftech's Francesco De Meo played Hellraiser: Revival at Gamescom 2025, he highlighted how much it feels like Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are on the right track. "With a no-holds-barred approach to the series' most extreme elements, I feel Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival will be an excellent debut for the franchise in the video games space," he wrote. "Despite playing the demo in a fully lit room amid the familiar hum of chatter that defines events like Gamescom, it feelt unsettling and horrifying nonetheless, which speaks volumes about the excellent work Saber Interactive is doing."

We'll see if he got his hopes up for nothing, or if his expectations are met, or even surpassed, this coming October 8, 2026, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
