[Update] Leaker I'm a Hero Too has now clarified this leak Bloodborne remaster leak, saying that it wasn't them that revealed the information.

[Original Story] A Bloodborne remaster has got to be one of the games players all over the world have been asking for the most, but it seems like we won't be seeing one for a few more years, according to new rumors circulating online.

As reported on the Gaming Leaks subreddit, I'm a Hero Too, a leaker who proved their credibility by revealing the existence of Persona 3 Reload before the official announcement and talked at length about the yet-to-be-announced Final Fantasy IX remake, recently revealed some interesting information related to Sony Interactive Entertainment's future projects and more on the Snitch's Discord server. Speaking about Bloodborne, the leaker revealed that the remaster is indeed in the works, and it is targeting a 2025 release window, which would make sense as it would be the game's 10th anniversary. Additionally, the development of this remaster, as well as that of the rumored Horizon Zero Dawn remaster, are being headed by Nixxes and not by Bluepoint Games, who's working on two other projects. An anime show by A1 based on the FromSoftware action RPG may also be in the works.

As the Bloodborne remaster is at least two years away, we are not going to see it anytime soon, not even at the next State of Play, which will be held later this month. Like last year's, the September 2023 event will be focused on games developed by Asian studios, which is understandable given the Tokyo Game Show 2023 is also being held this month. One of the games that could be shown at the event is the open-world game Project: The Perceiver.

Alongside revealing information on the Bloodborne remaster and other Sony projects, which include new IPs from Santa Monica Studio and Naughty Dog, as well as new partnerships with Marvel, the leaker also revealed some new information on Kingdom Hearts 4. Having only seen the game running on PlayStation 5, same as Persona 6, they speculate that both could be PS5 console exclusives. Additionally, the leaker revealed that the next time we will see the fourth entry in the series, it will be with a trailer focused on Riku.

A Bloodborne remaster has been rumored to be in the works for a long time, so we have to take everything revealed today with a grain of salt. Still, the leaker proved their credibility, so there's the chance that we will finally be able to return to Yarnham once again in the future and experience the thrills of the hunt like we never did before.
