Battlefield 6 seems to be a significant improvement over its predecessor

Battlefield 6's destruction mechanics seem to have been brought to the next level, judging from a fresh comparison video shared online shortly before the early access of the open beta began.

Besides improving one of the core elements of the series, Battlefield 6 also seems set to deliver solid performance on PC and consoles. As seen in the videos shared by MxBenchmark PC, the open beta seems to run very nicely on GPUs ranging from the NVDIA RTX 3080 to the RTX 5070, and even older GPUs like GTX 1060 and RTX 2060 and 3060, as seen in the video provided by Daniel Owen. On consoles, performance appears to be on point as well, as the open beta holds 60 FPS at all times on the PlayStation 5 Pro, and briefly deeps slightly below the FPS target on Xbox Series X as showcased in the video shared by Xiphos Gaming. As such, it definitely seems like there shouldn't be any significant performance issues at launch.

Battlefield 6 launches on October 10 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, and it's definitely on the way to becoming one of the most successful games of the year, judging by the numbers the open beta is already pulling in its early access period.
