Batman Arkham Knight New Trailer Coming on April 27; Reveals a New Feature and a Familiar Face Making a Comeback

Rocksteady / Warner Bros. Entertainment has released a new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer, announcing that a new trailer is coming in 3 days. A countdown trailer. The new trailer that’s coming out on the 27th of April 2015 is titled “All Who Follow You”.

Glimpse at the return of an iconic character to the Arkhamverse.

Batman Arkham Knight brings the award-winning Arkham trilogy from Rocksteady Studios to its epic conclusion. Developed exclusively for New-Gen platforms, Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile. The highly anticipated addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City. In this explosive finale, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city that he is sworn to protect, as Scarecrow returns to unite the super criminals of Gotham and destroy the Batman forever.

Sefton Hill, Game Director of Batman Arkham Knight and co-founder of Rocksteady Games shared via Twitter, that a very exciting new trailer is coming and "it's looking sweet." He also mentioned that we "might see someone familiar from Arkham City in there." He further went on to tease a brand new feature that no one outside of Rocksteady and Warner has seen before.

With Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman and Azrael already revealed to be making a return, it remains unclear whether the trailer will be presenting one of them or someone totally different. I already suggested that the Joker could be making a return in flashbacks, somehow haunting the Dark Knight, probably as a result of Scarecrow's fear gas or something similar. Everything seems to indicate that it's Azrael though and it will definitely be a welcome return for the iconic character.

The new feature might be a co-op mode with Robin or Nightwing or even the Catwoman. It could of course be something totally different, adding a completely new enhancement in the combat system.

Sefton Hill has recently confirmed on Twitter that the game will definitely be releasing on June 23 2015. Batman: Arkham Knight is set to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We will bring you any new information prior to its release as soon as it becomes available.
