Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 5 Adds a Unique-to-Each-Playthrough Epilogue, New Game Modes, More

Baldur’s Gate 3 drops its fifth major patch today and it’s one of the most feature-rich Larian Studios has delivered to date. The big addition is a new epilogue, which allows you to catch up with all the characters from your adventure before the credits roll. This epilogue will be fully customized for you, changing depending on your choices during the adventure. In addition to that, Larian Studios is serving up a couple of new ways to play the game – Honour Mode,  which takes save scumming off the table, and a Custom Mode that lets you set a long list of parameters yourself. Of course, the update also includes the usual performance enhancements and other smaller quality-of-life features.

Baldur’s Gate 3 can be played on PC and PS5 and will launch on Xbox Series X/S sometime in December. Patch 5 should be available to download now.
