A proper Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon reveal seems to be getting closer and closer, as the game's key art emerged online over the weekend to provide another very small look at the next entry in the FromSoftware series launching this year on PC and consoles.

The key art, which can be checked out in the two different variants shared by Okami Games below, was spotted on the Microsoft Store and is completely in line in terms of aesthetics with the rest of the series. Interestingly enough, the game is apparently already on version 2.1.0.1, suggesting that work may be further along than imagined.

With the game getting rated in South Korea and the key art surfacing online, it definitely feels like FromSoftware is gearing up for a proper reveal of Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon. As the game is rumored to release this year before the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, the Japanese studio will have to reveal it soon if the game is indeed scheduled for a September, October 2023 release.

It will interesting to see how Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon will play, as it has been some time since the release of the previous entry in the series. Between the launch of the two entries of the mech-battling series, FromSoftware achieved worldwide recognition for the Souls series, Bloodborne and Elden Ring, so it will be very interesting to see if having worked on these challenging action role-playing games will have had an influence on the next Armored Core game, although it has already been confirmed that, if any element from these games will be included in it, it will be because they are part of FromSoftware's design philosophy.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon launches sometime this year on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. We will let you know precisely when the game releases as soon as an announcement is made, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
