Apple Store Has Gone Down Ahead of WWDC 2023, Lots of Exciting Hardware and Software Releases Planned

In typical Apple fashion, the Apple Store has gone down ahead of all the exciting hardware and software announcements that are coming later today at WWDC 2023, less than six hours away. Now, the event is held annually, but the reason why this year's event is so important in the company's history is that today will be the first time we get a proper look at the Apple XR, the company's first VR and AR headset.

Apple Store going down is a marketing tactic that has been working in company's favor for years as it creates monumental levels of hype

Now, speaking of the Apple XR, there is a lot of excitement as the device will not only be the company's first take at a VR/AR headset but also be packed to the brim with class-leading technology. You can expect OLED screens for each eye, over a dozen cameras and sensors for accurate hand and eye tracking, and, most importantly, the legendary M2 chipset inside. However, all of this is going to cost you a pretty penny, with rumors suggesting that you can shell out up to $3,000 for the headset.

Other than the headset, Apple is also excepted to announce some updates to the Macs, and a new 15-inch MacBook Air is also coming out today. You can also expect M2 Max and M2 Ultra chipsets for Mac Studio, and we might also get to hear about the Mac Pro, but the fate of that device still hangs in the balance, but we will be sure to inform you of all the reveals as they happen.

Last but not least, it would not be a WWDC if Apple didn't focus on the software side of things. We can expect a lot of new versions, including iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS10, macOS 14, and tvOS 17. Expect a lot of announcements revolving around the software updates as these will be packed with new and improved features, and you can also expect some overhaul. The developer betas for these new updates will be available today, with the public betas scheduled for later this year.

It is safe to say that Apple Store going down is not an issue at the backend, it is all part of the plan, and we are all falling for it, year after year. If you are excited about the upcoming event, you can check when it starts here, tune into the company's official YouTube channel or the website, and stay up to date with all the announcements as they come.
