Today, Apple has seen fit to release beta 6 of iOS 11.2 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 to developers for testing purposes. The updates arrive a few days after the company released the beta 5 of the following firmware updates. So what does the new beta versions have in store for users? Apple Has Released iOS 11.2 Beta 6 And macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Beta 6 To Developers For Testing Purposes
As to begin with, iOS 11.2 introduces the Apple Pay Cash which is the company's P2P payment service for individuals. The operation works via the stock Messages app and allows for an easy person to person money transfer. It is available as a dedicated iMessage app in Messages. ash can be sent from the integrated credit or debit card, while on the other end, cash can be received via a stored Apple Pay Cash card in the Wallet. The payments received in Wallet can then be used for purchases or sent to a bank account.
There are a number of other changes part of the update like a small bar underneath the icons situated at the top right hand side of the device on the Lock screen, two new informational pop-ups in the Control Center which are displayed when using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, support for a faster 7.5W wireless charging on the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and the iPhone X and much more.
A new Now Playing option is also available for controlling content on the Apple TV in Control Center and other small changes. One of the most significant changes part of the iOS 11.2 is the fixing of the animation bug in the calculator app that causes some numbers and symbols to be omitted when tappen on rapidly.
