Apple Releases iOS 17.3, watchOS 20.3, and macOS Sonoma 14.3 Beta 3 to developers

Apple has seen fit to release beta 3 of its upcoming iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3. watchOS 10.3 and macOS Sonoma 14.3 to developers for testing purposes. The latest beta updates arrive a week after the second beta was made available to developers. You can download and install the latest build on your compatible devices for free if you are a developer.

iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 can be downloaded on compatible iPhone and iPad models through the Settings app. Go to Settings > General > Software Updates > Beta Updates and download the latest iOS 17.3 beta 3. Make sure that your Apple ID is connected to your Developer account. It was reported last week that the iOS 17.2 beta was causing some iPhone models to run into boot loop issues. Developers can install the latest iOS 17.3 beta 3 on top of beta 1 to avoid issues.

Besides iOS 17.3, Apple has also released beta 3 of watchOS 10.3 to developers. You can download the latest beta 3 on your wearable through your iPhone's dedicated Apple Watch app. Head to General > Software Update > Beta Updates and download watchOS 10.3 beta 3 on your Apple Watch. Ensure your Apple Watch has over 50 percent battery life and is connected to a power source. Your Apple Watch should also be in the range of your iPhone and connected to the internet.

Lastly, Apple has also released macOS Sonoma 14.3 beta 3 alongside iOS 17.3. The latest beta can be downloaded from System Settings's Software Update section. After you toggle on macOS Sonoma Developer Beta, the latest beta will be available under the Beta updates. Your Apple ID should be linked to your Developer account.
