The iPhone 8’s Motherboard Schematics Leak Once Again During EVT; Provide Difficult To Decipher Images

Not a day goes by that we don't get to see an Apple iPhone 8 related leak. Apple's 2017 flagship will deliver on a lot of ends where Cupertino has slacked off over the past couple of years. Apple's always loved to live in its own bubble of 'not following market trends'. It's a though process which originated in the Jobs era. But while he had good reasons for doing so, the current company leadership approaches things more haphazardly. Today, more details for the iPhone 8 have surfaced online. Motherboard Schematics For The iPhone 8 Surface In Alleged CAD Drawings

The iPhone 8 is an interesting smartphone. Even though Apple's famous for its focus on design (meaning: aesthetics), the company often launches devices with clever hardware features as well. One of the true standout features of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is their dedicated ISP. It's the first of a kind from the company and moves the smartphone lineup ahead by miles from its predecessors.

Now, it's starting to look like we'll get similar features for the iPhone 8. Some of the earliest leaks on the smartphone, well before the Galaxy S8 launched claimed that it will launch with a L Shaped motherboard. Now, we've got some more alleged schematics for the iPhone 8's motherboard. While they do not confirm this alleged design upgrade, they do resemble previous leaks.


If we're not wrong, then the NAND storage and CPU for the iPhone 8 are clearly visible above. However, since it's a schematic and not a visual representation, what space saving design Apple will adapt this year is unclear. Several frumso claim that an L shaped motherboard will save internal space on the smartphone, with apple also looking to split the smartphone's hardware in two pieces.

For what it's worth, the iPhone 8 is rumored to feature a lot of upgrades. The most important of these is facial recognition for the smartphone. HomePod firmware suggests that the iPhone 8 will respond to simple head gestures, such as the ability to mute notifications if the user is looking at it.
