Apple’s latest iOS 26.1 Beta 3 adds new Apple Intelligence languages, AirPods updates, and several performance improvements.

Today, Apple has seen fit to release the third developer beta of its upcoming iOS 26.1, iPadOS 26.1, and macOS Tahoe 26.1 update with bug fixes and performance enhancements. The updates come a week after the second beta was released to developers, and you can install the latest build right now on your compatible devices.

As mentioned, Apple has released iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 developer beta 3, which can be installed on all compatible iPhone and iPad devices starting today. If you are not sure how to install the updates, simply launch the Settings app and then head over to General > Software Update > Beta Updates and follow the on-screen instructions to begin the installation process.

Before you do that, you are required to connect your Apple ID to your Developer Account to receive the update over the air. If you do not, the updates will not show up in the Settings app. Additionally, the process to install iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 is the same on the iPhone and iPad.

The update can be installed on compatible Macs through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings. You are required to link your Apple ID to your Developer Account to receive the OTA update.
