Apple has released iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS 15.4 beta 1 to developers

If you are a registered developer, iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 beta 1 can be downloaded on compatible iPhone and iPad models through the Settings app. All you have to do is head over to General > Software Update > Beta Updates > and install the latest release by following the on-screen instructions. Before you do so, you have to make sure that your Apple ID is connected to your Developer Account to receive the update over the air. If it is not, the OTA update will not be available in the Settings app.

In addition to iOS 18.4, Apple has also released the first developer beta of macOS 15.4 for all compatible Macs. If you want to try it out for yourself, you can install it through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings. Again, make sure that your Apple ID and Developer Account are linked so that you can receive the update over the air.

As for what is new in the latest updates, it was previously reported that iOS 18.4 and its counterparts will bring major features to the table. Specifically, Apple Intelligence will receive significant upgrades, bringing enhancements to Siri and much more. However, Gurman later pointed out that Apple will delay the highly anticipated Siri experience and introduce it with the release of iOS 18.5 in May.

While it remains to be seen if the latest beta builds bring Siri enhancements to the platforms, we can be sure that it will still be a significant update for the public with front-facing utilities. We will wait for developers to tinker with the latest builds, so be sure to stick around for more details.
