Followed by this problematic situation for some users, Apple has finally updated its system status page that tracks disruption to services, iCloud and store. The purpose of updating the system status page is to notify users of any issues present in the aforesaid service provided by Apple.

So let's dive in to see what Apple has to say about the service disruptions and outages on iTunes.

Apple Confirms The Outage For iTunes Service Disruption

Apple has taken the outage into consideration which is pending for now to be resolved. According to the company, the iTunes and App Store outage has affected some users at around 12pm ET and possible steps are being taken by Apple to correct this. Since Apple has confirmed the issue with the service, the possible solution might arrive soon if Apple sticks to its trends. Apple has shed some light on the following issue as:

“Users are experiencing a problem with the service listed above. We are investigating and will update the status as more information becomes available.”

Apple is slow on updating its system status page and therefore, the issue did not show anything yesterday, just an error message citing, 'cannot complete your request'. Apple's last noticeable outage was discovered in August where the online store endured issues in iTunes, App Store, iBooks, Mac App Store and more. Furthermore, iTunes Store also faced an outage last month.

In the meanwhile, the company has released new 21.5-inch iMacs with 4K display along with some accessories to go. Do check it out.
