AOC is back with two more affordable gaming monitors. The company keeps releasing budget monitors quite frequently, and these are mostly IPS and VA displays specially designed for gamers on a budget. The two new gaming monitors launched today are 24-inch and 27-inch 1080p gaming displays that utilize Fast IPS panels to deliver good visual quality alongside fast response.

With the 24G4ZR and 27G4ZR, we're making that level of speed the new starting point, because every competitive player deserves a monitor that keeps up with them.

These are launched under the AOC Gaming G4 series, and both offer almost identical specifications except for the screen sizes. The smaller one is called AOC Gaming 24G4ZR, and the larger one is AOC Gaming 27G4ZR, offering Full HD resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate out of the box. Both monitors can be overclocked at up to 260 Hz, further enhancing the smoothness. Since these use Fast IPS panels, the response time is also excellent with 1 ms GtG and a rapid 0.3 ms MPRT.

The displays offer Adaptive-Sync and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility to minimize screen tearing, making gaming even more pleasant. As for color reproduction, these are vibrant displays, featuring a wide color gamut with color coverages such as 92.3% DCI-P3 and 121.5% sRGB for the 27-inch monitor, and 87.7% DCI-P3 and 111.7% sRGB color gamuts for the 24-inch model.

The monitors will be available with ergonomic stands, offering 130 mm height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot. These adjustments are essential for gamers who grind for hours, but AOC is also providing non-ergonomic models for lower prices. Both monitors will be available with non-adjustable stands, and users who want to keep costs down can opt for the 24G4ZRE and 27G4ZRE models.

The AOC Gaming 24G4ZR, 27G4ZR, 24G4ZRE, and 27G4ZRE will be available for purchase, starting this month at the following MSRPs:

  1. AOC Gaming 24G4ZR/24G4ZRE: £129/£109
  2. AOC Gaming 27G4ZR/27G4ZRE: £149/£129
