Google has finally started to roll out Android 14 QPR 3 Beta 1 to all supported Pixel devices, and the new update brings a number of fixes and changes to all the devices that are getting the update. Another thing that we have noticed is that the circle to search is also coming to supported devices.
Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1 is going to be helpful for those who are looking to try out the latest circle to search
If you are going for the latest update, you can check out the release notes here, and you can get the Android 14 QPR 3 Beta 1 on the following devices.
- Pixel 5a
- Pixel 6 and 6 Pro
- Pixel 6a
- Pixel 7 and 7 Pro
- Pixel 7a
- Pixel Fold
- Pixel Tablet
- Pixel 8 and 8 Pro
Now, the good news is that the Android 14 QPR 3 Beta 1 also has a fixed circle to search--the feature was previously unavailable to beta users and was unintentionally released to non-beta users. In addition to that, the search engine giant has also fixed a known problem with the Assistant At a Glance widget, which would show information from the wrong location.
As always, Google wants the user to know that Android 14 QPR 3 Beta 1 could bring a number of issues.
- This release might have various stability, battery, or performance issues.
- For users with accessibility needs, this release might not be appropriate for daily use.
- Some apps might not function as expected when running on this release. This limitation includes Google’s apps as well as other apps.
- Android 14 QPR beta builds aren’t Compatibility Test Suite (CTS)-approved, but they have passed preliminary testing and provide a stable set of pre-release APIs for developers. Apps that depend on CTS-approved builds or use SafetyNet APIs might not work normally on Android 14 QPR beta builds.
If you want to be a part of the Android Beta Program and try out the latest update, you can head over to Google's website, and you will get a notification saying that Android 14 QPR 3 Beta 1 is now rolling out to your supported device. If you are thinking about updating to the latest beta, I would highly advise that you do it only if you are okay with some bugs and other issues because it certainly is going to be a problem if you are looking to use the update as a daily driver.
