The Ryzen 3 5100 is the slowest Ryzen 5000 CPU based on Zen 3 architecture, but it never saw a worldwide release.
Ryzen 3 5100 From 2020 Surfaces Online; Features 4 Cores, 8 Threads, and Up To 4.2 GHz of Boost clock
Zen 3 lineup is vast and offers dozens of processors, ranging from simple 4-core/8-thread chips to 16-core/32-thread offerings like Ryzen 9 5950X. However, some SKUs weren't officially launched worldwide and were only limited to specific regions. This is exactly what we have been seeing in recent days, as AMD continues to expand the Ryzen 5000 lineup by releasing CPUs like Ryzen 5 5600F.
If you remember, back in 2023, we reported on the slowest Zen 3 SKU called the Ryzen 3 5100, which was spotted on GIGABYTE's website. The processor belongs to the Cezanne family, and while we only saw a glimpse of some of its specifications, we finally have a real pic of one of the early samples. As posted by @momomo_us, the Ryzen 3 5100 indeed made it to the market, but it was exclusively launched in China.
The Ryzen 3 5100 doesn't even exist on AMD's official website, and we can see why. Nonetheless, the CPU is the weakest in the family, offering 4 cores and 8 8-thread configuration and base/boost clock of 3.8/4.2 GHz. The L2+L3 cache size is 10 MB (2 MB + 8 MB), and it's rated at 65W. Since it's not an APU, it doesn't feature integrated graphics.

If you are thinking whether this processor will get an official release now, then the answer is NO. It's a sample from 2020, and there have been no reports of its release. But it's interesting to see that AMD had even slower options than Ryzen 5 5500 or Ryzen 3 5300G. Ryzen 3 5100 in today's market won't make any sense since the Ryzen 5500 is already available for a sub-$80 price tag and offers 6 cores and 12 threads, and also double the L3 cache size.
